Louis Fan Siu-wing is a Hong Kong martial artist and actor best known for his role as the villainous Jin Shanzhao in the Ip Man film series. He was born on June 19, 1973, in Hong Kong.
Fan began his martial arts training at a young age, learning various styles such as Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and Wing Chun. He even won several national and international martial arts competitions.
Fan made his acting debut in the 1995 film "Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky". He went on to appear in numerous Hong Kong films before gaining international recognition for his role as Jin Shanzhao in the "Ip Man" film series alongside Donnie Yen.
Apart from acting, Fan is also a martial arts instructor and has trained many students in various styles. He also runs his own martial arts school in Hong Kong.
Fan has won several awards for his work in films, including the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 25th Hong Kong Film Awards for his role in the film "Gallants."
